Course |
Combination of HLTFA1A, CPR01 and
IFA02. |

Objective |
|
|
To
equip participants with the theoretical knowledge and
practical application to competently administer
emergency first aid, as well as the treatment of other
illnesses and injuries. |

Assessment |
Senior First Aid has both practical
and theoretical elements, where participants
demonstrate procedures of techniques used and exhibit
the necessary knowledge on administering first aid.

Length |
This course can be conducted in one
of two ways at the discretion of the client:

A
one day course, where students must also submit a
workbook, completed at their own discretion.

A
two day course, with further face-to-face contact.

Validity |
The Statement of Attainment remains valid for
three years from the completion date. It is
recommended that cardiopulmonary resuscitation skills
(CPR) are refreshed annually.

the necessary knowledge on administering advanced
first aid. |

Low Voltage Switchboard Rescue

CPR & Low Voltage Switchboard Rescue |
|
Accreditation |
Whilst First Aid Alive is a
registered training organisation, registered with the
Queensland Government in 2002 and is able issue
nationally recognised statement of attainments in CPR,
however, Low Voltage Switchboard Rescue is a
non-accredited course and participants will only be
issued statements of attendance, which are not
nationally recognised. |

To provide strategies for persons to
perform a safe rescue of a victim who has received an
electric shock or personal injuries while working on
low voltage conductors or equipment. |
