Course Outline: Duration: 4 Hrs Nationally Recognised Atmospheric Hazards and Gas Detector Course PMAOMIR217A
This course covers:
Basic
· Atmospheric hazards
· Hazards associated with toxic gases,
combustible gases and oxygen
· Criteria used to assess hazards and gas levels
· Use and care of gas detection equipment
Specific gas detection use looks at:
· Basic operation of equipment
· Activation (on/off)
· Zeroing and spanning
· Calibration
· Clearing Data ie PEAKS, STEL, TWA
· Recalling Data ie PEAKS, STEL, TWA
It is preferred that the gas detectors used for practical training is the actual equipment used on the job by the trainees however, equipment is provided by us for the practical training.
